HOW TO ADD YOUR PROFILE

     

Find the orange menu bar on the left side of your browser window. Click on 'Profile Manager'.

You are now on the 'Manage Profile' Page. All the information that you first registered on AFWork with, is now located on this page. Please just double check that everything is present.

MAKE SURE YOU UPLOAD AN 80X80 ICON, IT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD WHEN AN EMPLOYER PERFORMS A SEARCH!!

Now click on 'Category' on the orange menu bar.

You are now located on the 'Expertise Categories' page. Categories that you entered when you first registered is now located on this page. Please just double check that everything is correct.

Find the orange menu bar on the left side of your browser window. Click on 'Profile'.

COMPANY INFORMATION: Enter information about your freelance business in this text box.

WORK SITE :
Onsite - Want to work at client's office
Offsite - Want to work in your own home office
Any- Work either Onsite or Offsite

AVAILABILITY: The date when you are available to start working.

WILLING TO TRAVEL: Yes or No

PAY RATE : Choose the amount that you want to charge for your services. Read this article if you don't know what amount you should be charging.

PROFILE LAYOUT : Choose your color preference for your profile and portfolio

Now click on 'Skills' on the orange menu bar.

You are now located on the 'Skills Profile' page. Right beneath the 'Skills Profile' Header, click on 'Add a New Skill'.

Type one of your skills in the text box and choose # of years from drop down menu.
Continue to Click on 'Add a New Skill' until you have entered all of your skills.
You will now see all of your skills listed. You can click on the 'cut' button to delete a skill or click on the 'edit' button in order to edit the skill listing.
